Urrbrae is one of the most involved organisations in the Royal Adelaide Show each year. In 2024 Urrbrae had a record number of competition entries and student and staff involvement in a diverse range of show exhibits and competitions.
We prepare students for tertiary education, vocational pursuits, and exciting opportunities in urban and rural settings.
Urrbrae at the Sydney Royal Easter Show
Congratulations to Year 12 student Aliya Jeffery who participated in the Alpaca Youth Judges and Paraders competitions at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Aliya was extremely successful at the show. In Young Judges, she was awarded Champion in the Halter class, and Reserve Champion in the Fleece class. In Youth Paraders, Aliya came 2nd both Stockmanship and Showmanship and Reserve Champion.
It was amazing week for Aliya, in addition to competing, she was able to communicate with wide community, especially around her passion of getting more young people involved in the Alpaca Industry.
