The Yankalilla Council hosted the agricultural expo entitled Ag Fest on Friday 4^th April which 30 of our senior students attended. The Ag Fest provided an opportunity for the students to experience:

• Innovation: exploring ideas and technology being used in agriculture, other primary production, conservation and land management.
• Diverse Career Pathways: discovering the abundance of diverse career pathways in agriculture and related industries.
• Inspiration and Connections: providing inspiration to students and build valuable connections for careers, work experience.

The Ag Fest excursion was an excellent extension activity for students who are particularly interested in innovations in agriculture and related areas and the interactive sessions provided direct learning connections to Agriculture subjects. The students were outstanding ambassadors of our school and staff received very positive feedback from the Ag Fest organisers and presenters. We look forward to attending again in 2026!
