Urrbrae Wellbeing Program in Partnership with The Resilience Project

Urrbrae Agricultural High School is proud to partner with The Resilience Project to deliver a whole-school wellbeing program focused on the key principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, and Emotional Literacy.

This program takes a preventative, whole-school approach to mental health, providing students, staff, and families with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to support wellbeing and build long-term resilience.

An independent evaluation conducted by Monash University, involving over 40,000 secondary students across Australia, found that participants in The Resilience Project’s School Partnership Program showed significantly improved mental health outcomes when schools demonstrated long-term commitment to the program’s implementation.

These findings strongly support the value of ongoing investment in evidence-based, school-wide wellbeing strategies to positively impact the mental health of entire school communities.

the Resilience project at home

Importantly, resilience can be fostered at home too. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to engage with the Parent & Carer Hub and explore ways to build a GEM culture at home.

Small, consistent practices of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness can have a powerful impact on family wellbeing.

Together, we can help create a stronger, healthier, and more connected school community.
