On Wednesday, 2nd April, Mr Borchardt, Ms Roennfeldt and nine of our SRC leaders attended the GRIP Student Leadership Conference at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Students learned about the responsibilities that leaders have towards other people and the need for compassion and kindness. One workshop focused on how to engage communities when organising events. Another focused on initiatives such as indoor and outdoor spaces for wellbeing. We learned about listening to the needs of others and how to persevere because setbacks are inevitable. All students enjoyed the interactive and high-energy nature of the presentations. Thanks to Mr Krieg for organising this fantastic experience for our young leaders.
