On Thursday March 20th, student leaders from four local high schools gathered at Urrbrae for the first Interschool Student Leaders Meet and Share Morning. Student Voice Executive teams from Urrbrae, Blackwood High School, Unley High School and Mitcham Girls High School met to learn about each school’s individual context, Student Leadership structures and Projects for 2025 and beyond. There was a lot of animated, enthusiastic and informative discussion throughout the forum, which led to a flurry of ideas about how the participating schools could further strengthen connections with each other, and adopt or modify some of the applicable ideas and processes that were shared. Everyone agreed that meeting each other and finding out more about each others’ schools was a worthwhile and collaborative event to participate in. We look forward to continuing the conversations, ideas sharing and planning at the next meeting, to be hosted by Unley High School some time  in Term 2.
